1 Year Anniversary Giveaway with LunaVida!

Around this time last year, my sister, Allie, informed me that she was going to start a fashion blog & encouraged me to start a wedding blog at the same time. To celebrate the one year anniversary of our blogs, Allie & I are going to be giving away something pretty awesome:

I’ve been lusting after this since I first saw the picture released online… I don’t have any of the other Naked palettes, but I love the pinks in this one and knew it had to be mine… so I caved and ordered it today as a birthday present to myself.

If you love this eyeshadow palette as much as I do, I think you’ll be very interested in Allie & I’s giveaway. Head on over to LunaVida or click the Rafflecopter link below for your chance to win this Urban Decay Naked 3 eyeshadow palette as an early Christmas present to yourself!

Missha BB Cream Review

A few days ago I posted about an awesome deal Missha is having on its BB Cream. On top of being a great deal, it ships super fast & I received mine last night! Continue reading

Jason & I fortunate enough to have some pretty awesome friends & family. Today, my cousin & I set up an appointment to have our engagement pictures taken on March 17th. Jason & I both hate having our picture taken, we’re not by any means naturally photogenic — which is why after nearly two years of dating we have three total pictures of the two of us… One which I would much prefer did not exist. Because of this, I am so glad we’re lucky enough to know a great photographer – I feel like that will make things much less awkward & we’ll be much more likely to capture at least one great picture of the two of us. If anyone in the Cincinnati area is looking for a great photographer, particularly if you have babies or young children, you should check out Daneane’s website at Forget-Me-Not Photography.

Missha BB Cream

This is completely unrelated to weddings, but I love a good deal so I thought I would pass this on for others to enjoy. I am a BB cream convert, I love the way it makes my skin look & feel. I had been using Dr. Jart’s BB cream which I got for $20 off thanks to my Birchbox points. Then after a few rough months with Birchbox I switched over to ipsy. In my opinion, ipsy is far superior to Birchbox, but I do miss those points adding up & allowing me to buy pricier items for much cheaper. So when I ran out of Dr. Jarts, I decided to give Loreal’s BB cream a chance since it is more within my makeup budget… It works okay, but it’s no where near as great as Dr. Jarts.
